Will director Shankar keep his promise?

Time and again director Shankar has been asked if he would be making a film in Telugu and he has promised that he would be making soon. The same situation arose again at the audio launch of I in Telugu.

The director speaking at the audio launch said that he in indebted to the love of Telugu audience who have made all his films a success and gave him a star like status even though he has not made a direct Telugu film so far. He mentioned that in the past he did try to make a film in Telugu twice but it didn’t materialize. However this time he promised that he would be making a direct Telugu film for sure.

The director’s name has been thrown for one of the most anticipated film in Telugu cinema in the recent past. With this director’s latest promise will that anticipated film get the director on board? Will the director keep his promise? What do you think?
