Sai Pallavi has only one release this year, and that too was a delayed project Kanam. It came in the summer and went unnoticed. One of her bigger commercial projects NGK was supposed to arrive for Diwali, but that too is postponed, and a new date is not known.

The developments so far have been frustrating for her fans, but finally, there is good news in sight, and it is one that will make them double happy. The same might not be right for the distributors though. After a gap, Sai Pallavi will have not one, but two films around the same time. If things go as planned, she may have those movies released on the same day itself.

The two flicks are Padi Padi Leche Manasu and Maari 2. Both are aiming for a December 21st release to cash in on the Christmas festival holidays. Right now, only the former has official confirmation. Maari 2 makers are waiting for an appropriate time, and plans are also underway to make it a simultaneous Telugu release as well. Meanwhile, the first looks images of Sai Pallavi from Maari 2 have gone viral and increased expectations on the movie.
