Will low key help Kalyan Ram’s ‘Pataas’?

There is a lot of ambiguity related to Sankranthi releases of Telugu films this time. Even though ‘Gopala Gopala’ is said to surely hit screens this Sankranthi, there are reports claiming that some parts of Pawan Kalyan are yet to be shot and Pawan isn’t responding for unknown reasons. And all that we are aware about Temper is that the film has been postponed.

Instead of his brother’s ‘Temper’, Kalyanram’s ‘Pataas’ is probably going to see the release this holiday season. There were news that producer Dil Raju turned good Samaritan for ‘Pataas’ and bought the rights for Nizam area voluntarily and even volunteered the business regarding other areas.

But coming to promotions, there is extremely low key maintained and one can say that the publicity on the film is almost nil. In time audio launch wasn’t possible because of Janakiram’s untimely demise. Though the audio launch is set for 1st January, it’s high time that latest posters or trailers had to be cut to promote the film. These days when promotions are deciding the fate of a film, cine observers and trade pundits are left wondering how such low key promotions would help Kalyan Ram.
