Will Dhoni Affect Taapsee’s Pink?

While the entire country to looking forward for the release of the biopic ‘Dhoni’ based on the real life story of their most loved cricketer MS Dhoni, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Pink’ is still making merry at box-office.

But with the kind of buzz surrounding ‘Dhoni‘ and the kind of enthusiasm audiences have for biopics, especially on star cricketers, ‘Dhoni’ is certainly going to hog the limelight in the coming days and one can easily guess that the openings are going to be tremendous as the makers had secured highest screen count for its release.

‘Pink’ which was made with a budget of around Rs.23 crores has already amassed nearly Rs. 50 crores and still going strong in theatres. So, will ‘Dhoni’ affect ‘Pink‘ collections? It depends solely on the performance and talk on the film on the opening day. If ‘Dhoni’ can live up to the expectations of the audiences, it will start reigning dethroning ‘Pink’. Otherwise, ‘Pink’ will have uninterrupted run in the coming week even.
