Will Nani’s Loss Be Dulquer’s Gain, Again?

Crazy youth heroes, Nani, and Dulquer Salman have something else in relation apart from their following. The latter is seen as a perfect replacement for parts; the former is unable to start.

In the past, Nani was apparently approached for a Mani Ratnam movie. It didn’t materialize due to some unexpected issue. The lead role was later changed, and Dulquer entered in his place. No prizes for guessing, it is Ok Bangaram. Incidentally, Nani dubbed for Dulquer in the film.

Now, years later, Dulquer is all set to start a new multilingual project. It is director Hanu Raghavapudi’s period project with a military and war background. If one has been following Nani’s updates closely, they would instantly recollect that a similar project was in works with him in the lead.

The makers of Mahanati, Swapna Cinemas, and Vyjayanthi Movies have announced another multilingual. It will star Dulquer Salman in the lead playing an army lieutenant named Ram. It is a love story set amidst the war background.

It needs to be seen if Nani’s supposed loss will be Dulquer’s gain or not. It worked for Dulquer in the past, let’s see if that is the case in the future, as well.

Check out the concept poster below. The title will be revealed later. The poetical design is reminding one of Hanu Raghavapudi’s previous attempts. Vishal Chandrasekhar provides the music. It would be his third collaboration with the director after Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha and Padi Padi Leche Manasu.
