Will Pawan and Mahesh –please stand up?

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Superstar Mahesh Babu are undoubtedly two of the biggest stars in the industry currently. They are kind off seen as the leaders of the pack of stars of their generation. Unfortunately except for the box office numbers, they don’t seem to exhibit the leadership qualities the top of the stars and face of the industry needs to do.

Take the example of Tamil superstars of current generation like Vijay, Ajith and Surya, whenever there is crisis in the industry or there is a general issue most of these stars make an appearance to express support to the people and give the issue a platform to be visible. Unfortunately in Telugu films, that is not the case as its tops stars like Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu rarely appear outside for causes.

In TFI it is still the old generation top 4 stars that take the initiative and do all the work. Just yesterday we had Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh come together to announce all the activities related to the ‘Memu Saitham’ event that is dedicated to the Hudhud victims. Wouldn’t it have been better had the present stars too been part of the initiative. It would have surely generated more heat and got more eye balls given their craze.

Our question is simple, don’t you think Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu being the face of the industry need to be more actively involved in the happenings in industry especially when it’s related to a cause.
