Will Rajamouli promotion do the trick for 1?

We all know that Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest release 1 Nenokkadine has opened with poor talk from its opening day but the superb performance of the film in overseas has given the makers little hope. As a result they have decided to up the ante as far as promotions in Andhra Pradesh go where the film has not seen any rise in collections. Mahesh Babu has himself attended the promotional routine yesterday and now sensational director SS Rajamouli too will be part of the promotion.

SS Rajamouli has long stated his immense like for director Sukumar and the this like was even more evident with the director’s messages towards 1 Nenokkadine on his social networking page. Now the director will interview Sukumar as part of promotion of the film. The point however remains that will this promotion help 1 Nenokkadine in AP or is this effort being put to help sustain the collections in US. Rajamouli is a star in his own right and a word or two from the director appreciating the film wouldn’t hurt it any way, would it? Or is there something more going on behind the walls like a film in the combination of Mahesh and Rajamouli happening soon, what say?
