The latest buzz in the southern film industry is the ongoing hunt for a female actor starring opposite Rana Daggubati in the upcoming Hanu Raghavapudi directed action-romance film. The list of actresses being considered for the role includes the names of Bollywood actresses like Parineeti Chopra, Shraddha Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri. However, sources confirm that the filmmakers seem to be very keen on casting Parineeti Chopra as the leading star and have tried to initiate discussions for the film. The actress is in Hyderabad at present, shooting for an upcoming movie, ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’, with actor Aditya Roy Kapoor.
In a media talk with the director recently, Hanu Raghavapudi disclosed the reason why they are searching for a Bollywood actress instead of a Tollywood actress. He said that since it’s going to be a bilingual movie releasing in both Hindi and Telugu, they need a Bollywood actress who suits the character sketch developed for the film.
