Will son-in-law take on father-in-law?

It has not happened so far but if the movies of respective stars hit screens as planned then we might be looking at an interesting clash of sorts at the ticket counter. The two stars are, as one might have guessed by now, Dhanush and Rajinikanth.

This Jodi of father-in-law and son-in-law are ready with their respective films Lingaa and Anegan. Already the audio of Anegan has released while Lingaa’s audio is going to get unveiled this weekend. Both these films are positioned to release in December in the first and second weeks. There is however a talk that the makers of Dhanush film might postpone their film to end of the month if there is no other Tamil biggie arriving. As of now I has taken that slot.

Dhanush is currently on a high with super success of VIP on the other hand Rajinikanth needs no such highs as any film starring him as hero automatically becomes an event of sorts, it becomes the kind of films many stars try to avoid. Will Dhanush avoid this clash or will he move forward and clash with I instead or will his film simply release as planned?
