Will It Be Pink Or Is There A Surprise?

Pink is without any doubt the movie of the year according to most, if not all, critics. So as India’s entry for Oscar Awards is going to be announced tomorrow, all eyes are on Pink to see if it gets nominated or not.

A nomination here will be a great boost to the box office prospects of the film. In the past, a film like Barfi, starring Ranbir Kapoor, was selected as India’s entry to Oscar as soon as it opened. That boosted the collections of the film big time. Kahani is also one film which benefitted big way after Vidya Balan won National Award for Best Actor, just after its release.

Pink is having a solid run at the box office with nearly 30 Cr in the bank already. Let’s wait and see if it gets selected as India’s official Oscar entry or not.
