Will Talented Director Be Unlucky For Second Time?

Sriram Adithya made a smashing debut with the film Bhale Manchi Roju. It won huge critical appraise, and without any doubt, it was a stylishly made crime comedy. Not many films could boast of such technical finesse.

Unfortunately, Bhale Manchi Roju was a flop at the box office. Many considered its release time to be wrong that curtailed its box office prospects. However, a talented director will surely get recognized one way or the other and his second film is a proof of that. Sriram Adithya is returning with Shamantakamani which has a unique casting among small budget films.

Sadly, the second film too seems to be heading the path of the debut movie commercially. There is surprisingly no buzz on the movie. With such a cast in place, the promotions should have been electrifying. But so far only Sundeep Kishan has come out. With two more days to go for release let’s see if things turn out for good at the last moment.
