Will Venkatesh Break the Jinx?

Victory Venkatesh has been one of the most bankable heroes in the last three decades in Telugu cinema. He has done a variety of roles but his biggest hits have been romantic and emotional family entertainers.

Whenever he tried action even though he got appreciation, the films never became blockbusters. Right from Kshana Kshanam, Super Police, Dharma Chakram, Ganesh, Gharshana, Gemini, Subhash Chandra Bose, and Shadow.

Films like Dharma Chakram and Ganesh even went on to win many awards but still, the films were underperformers at the box office. Whatever the reasons, his action films, unfortunately, never really made a big impact at the box office.

Now Venkatesh is coming up with another action thriller film, Saindhav in the direction of HIT director Sailesh Kolanu. The film is said to have many huge action blocks. Sailesh has proven his talent as a director in his past films. He is one of those new-age directors who understand the tastes of today’s audience.

Let’s hope Sailesh Kolanu comes up with a kickass film with Saindhav and gives a big blockbuster to Venkatesh in the action genre. Saindhav releases on 13 January and will clash with other Sankranthi biggies like Guntur Kaaram, Naa Saami Ranga, Hanuman, and Eagle.
