Senior star’s dependency on remakes!

Is Venkatesh going to star in the remake of Malayalam super hit movie ‘Two Countries’? If reports are to be believed, talks are on with actor for the remake of this film by producer Bandla Ganesh.

Remakes from a different language seem to be safe bet for actors as those stories have passed the acid test by the audiences. But not always. Victory Venkatesh has already done four remakes so far and it turned out to be a mixed result.

Out of his recent remakes, Drushyam did well but ‘Masala’ had bit dust, while ‘Gopala Gopala’ was good but not up to the expectations. Overall, his remakes didn’t taste the same success as the originals. Will this remake work?
