Late-night pubs take time to be in Hyd!

Telangana government earlier planned to introduce Wine Lounges and late-night pubs in Hyderabad in a bid to make the city in to a global city. However the introduction of wine lounges and pubs with microbreweries will not arrive with the new liquor policy coming in to force from October 1st.

For some reason the government had decided to pause the idea and the government sources say the Chief Minister plans to unveil a separate policy to give special focus to the city at a later date.

Along with this, the government also likely to put hold the introduction of affordable liquor for various reasons, including resistance from toddy traders and unpreparedness of distilleries to manufacture the liquor.
