On the other hand, Ajay Bhupathi’s Mangalavaaram starring Payal Rajput which got decent reviews from the audience and critics is running empty. There is not even one show that is fast-filling or sold out for the film in Hyderabad city.

Despite poor reviews, Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 was expected to collect big on its second Sunday. But there are only 2 fast-filling or sold-out shows in the city which is shocking and a huge blow to the film. The film was bound to flop but the World Cup Final Match fever has further taken it down to disaster levels.

The situation is also grim for other releases, with theater occupancy rates remaining at a mere 5-10%. This Sunday is proving disastrous for the cinema industry, as all films are witnessing a washout in theaters due to the World Cup final match.
