The teaser made World Famous Lover look like a rehash of Vijay Deverakonda’s own Arjun Reddy. The expansion of the premise in the trailer gives a little bit better idea, but it still is far away from getting a clear picture. If repetitiveness is the problem, this lack of clarity on the story is the strength.
The various love stories look easily identifiable. The writing looks on the spot with the few seen in the trailer sure to strike a chord. The coal mine worker track seems to be an easy winner for the masses. At the end of the day, it needs to be seen how these individual tracks are merged to form a single cohesive narrative.
Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, who obviously will be the scene-stealer, the ladies too seem to have got some meat to their parts. Rashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Izabella Leite play the different female leads.
