It came as a surprise that Vijay Deverakonda’s film ‘World Famous Lover‘ opened to US premiere gross of $111 K from 143 locations, the lowest so far when we check the track record of the star’s latest five films. Considering his stardom and craze, it’s a very low number.

The movie opened to mixed talk from the critics across the board. The breakeven of the film in the US is one million. That’s a huge figure. His last release collected $273 from the premiers and grossed $833 K in its lifetime.

Even ‘Taxiwala’ that was released after full film getting leaked online grossed $115 K from premieres and it grossed $767 K in its lifetime. So far, ‘World Famous Lover’ has posted very low numbers. Vijay already announced that it is going to be his last love story.

Irrespective of the fact that whether it is a love story or not, Vijay D must be more careful with regarding the selection of his script, hereafter. Let’s wait and see where the movie will end up at the US box-office.
