Jungle Adventure: Yash Chooses Disaster Director Again?

Yash and PS Mithran Jungle Film Rumours!

Following the terrible failure of Toxic, Yash has still not announced his next solo lead film and he is currently playing Ravana in the highly anticipated pan-Indian film Ramayana.

In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that Kollywood director PS Mithran, who is known for movies such as Irumbu Thirai and Sardar, has recently narrated a jungle-based adventure film to Yash. Reportedly, after the narration, Yash gave the green light to the project.

Consequently, it is expected that Yash’s next film will most probably be helmed by PS Mithran. Furthermore, there is also information that this jungle adventure film was initially supposed to be done by Dhanush under Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production.

However, it now seems that Dhanush has opted out of the project and Yash has replaced him in this pan-Indian jungle-based film similar to Indiana Jones.

Also, sources suggest that in the earliest stages, this film was supposed to be done by Ram Charan. Later, due to call-sheet issues, it went to Dhanush and from Dhanush, the project has now gone to Yash.

In response to this speculation, some social media users feel that the collaboration looks promising, suggesting that the concept seems very fresh for Indian cinema and believing it would help Yash break out of the Rocky Bhai hangover. Others, however, feel that Yash should not waste his potential with an offbeat director.

They point to PS Mithran’s filmography: out of the four films he has directed so far, two were successful ventures, while the other two ended up as terrible disasters including the latest Sardar 2. Therefore, they feel that PS Mithran is still not ready to direct a huge Pan Indian with a star actor like Yash and that his track record is quite poor.

Hence, they claim that Yash should not waste his caliber by collaborating with such directors and should choose an established filmmaker for his next outing.

Ultimately, all there are just social media speculations and there has still been no official update yet. It remains to be seen whether PS Mithran and Yash will collaborate on a jungle-based film and if they do, how the project will take shape in the future.
