Yash Supporting Telugu MP Candidate

After Kannada star turned politician Ambareesh passed away recently, it was left to his wife Sumalatha to decide whether to continue her husband’s legacy as a politician and contest in the upcoming elections. Finally, she had decided to contest in the elections but not on Congress Party ticket but as an independent candidate.

She was denied ticket from Congress Party to contest from Mandya constituency and therefore, with the help of KGF Yash, and another star hero Darshan backing her up, Sumalatha announced her candidature from Mandya as an independent candidate to contest against Chief Minister Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Deve Dowda. Yash and Darshan accompanied her to the press conference where she made this announcement. Yash also promised on stage that he is going to actively campaign for Sumalatha.

He was very close to Ambareesh who used to consider Yash as his son. Ambareesh even ordered an expensive custom designed cradle for Yash’s daughter before he passed away. The demised star has always supported young actors Yash and Darshan. By the way, Yash belongs to Mandya region, hence he thinks that people in his home turf will support Sumalatha and vote for her.
