Theatrical excitement around Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is translating into a phenomenal advance-booking response, with the film witnessing record-breaking ticket sales nearing the 350K mark on BookMyShow within just a day of bookings going live. With every passing hour, the ticket count continues to climb, pointing to an exceptionally strong opening-day turnout across Karnataka, the Telugu states, and other regions.
Following the blockbuster KGF franchise, Yash has built a pan-Indian market of his own, and Toxic is now looking to capitalize on that fan base with a completely different cinematic world. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film’s distinctive setting, gangster backdrop and high-end production values have added another layer of curiosity to the project.
Dil Raju is handling the film’s release in the Telugu states. The response from the region is expected to gain further momentum with the grand pre-release event scheduled in Hyderabad today.
With advance bookings already showing extraordinary strength and promotions entering their final phase, Toxic is heading towards August 26 with the signs of a massive theatrical opening firmly in place.
