Toxic Song Review: Makers Themselves Killing the Buzz?

The audio song Tabaahi from Toxic, starring Yash, has received strong backlash from fans online. The makers had promised a song release, but audiences were disappointed when only an audio track was unveiled.

Many fans described the composition as routine with weak lyrics. The music, composed by Vishal Mishra, failed to impress a section of listeners, who recalled his earlier work in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Soon after the release, criticism flooded social media platforms like Reddit. One user commented that while the beats were decent, the lyrics felt poorly written and below expectations set by the makers themselves.

Film journalist KRK also mocked the song publicly. He claimed that Tabaahi was a copy of a song from Kabir Singh and accused the film of imitating the style of Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

KRK further stated that Yash was attempting to resemble Ranbir Kapoor from Animal. He went on to label Toxic as a likely box office disaster.

Industry chatter suggests the makers are struggling to control online negativity. Some insiders believe Toxic may underperform, as none of its promotional content has managed to create strong pre-release buzz so far.
