Chaitanya confirmed that he was affected by all the trolling on him and the film. He says that he expected some sort of negativity but this was completely on a new level. He feels that it’s the lovers of the Premam movie from Malayalam and Tamil who have been trolling the most rather than Telugu audience. The good thing is, he is now okay with it.
The actor makes it clear that he has no intention of bettering the original. He loved the Malayalam film and it has been watched by a majority of Tamil people too. Since a vast population of Telugu moviegoers hasn’t watched it, Chaitu says, he thought it would be apt to remake here. Except this there is no other reason, he clarifies. The honesty surely comes across in his words, hope the trolls realize it.
