Yet Another Popular Music Director Turns Actor

Music director Gopi Sundar who is slowly but steadily making inroads in Telugu cinema has joined the list of MD’s turning actors. He will be soon making acting debut with the film Toll Gate.

The music director will make his debut in the home language, Malayalam. Toll Gate is reportedly based on true events. It is written and directed by Hari Krishnan. Young Malayalam star Dulquer Salman unveiled the first look poster of the movie.

Gopi Sundar follows a small list of musicians from Tamil films who have similarly made a foray into acting in the recent past. The names Vijay Antony and GV Prakash immediately come into mind. In Telugu, we have had SV Krishna Reddy and RP Patnaik who took similar step years ago.
