Krishnudu comes from an illustrious family of politicians and his forefathers were Zamindaris owning thousands of acres of land. Being honest, they gave away 3500 acres of land during the Land Reforms leading to the ceiling of the landholdings and later sold away most of the land.

Those days, before he came into movies, Krishnudu used to get at least one lakh rupees as his pocket money. However, the Krishnudu says that he never behaved like a rich kid who parties, goes to pubs etc. He always liked to be like a common man and mingle with common people and friends, around him. Sensible enough!
