Young Director Confirms Star Hero’s Obsession for Bound Script

Even before he completed shooting for his 34th movie ‘S 3’, star hero Suriya locked the script for his next movie which was launched recently and would go on the floors probably in the last week of October. Young director Vignesh Shivan of ‘Nenu Rowdy Ne’ fame hit the jackpot when he got a star hero like Suriya for his third directorial venture.

But the young director didn’t get a chance just like that. Though the producers of Suriya”s next liked the story, Suriya locked it only after listening to the full narration and read the bound script. Vignesh Shivan says he was happy as he was an avid writer.

There is a talk on Suriya that he insists on the bound script before accepting the film to go on floors. In the past, he walked out of director Gautham Menon’s project because the director couldn’t be ready with a bound script. One can now understand that, if Suriya signed on dotted lines for a movie, he had entirely read the script for sure.
