Young Hero Mired in Plagiarism Charges

Young hero Dhanush is producing the next project of his father-in-law Rajinikanth’s movie titled ‘Kaala’ under his Wunderbar Films and this movie is being directed by Pa Ranjith of ‘Kabali’.

This film is presently mired under the plagiarism charges from an Assistant director Rajasekharan claiming that the story of ‘Kaala’ and the tag line of the film ‘Karikalan’ belongs to him and he coined the term ‘Karikalan’ which is used for Rajinikanth‘s ‘Kaala’.

He registered the title ‘Karikalan’ a decade ago and the movie which began with Vikram and was shelved later. So, the assistant director filed a complaint against the makers of the movie which is based on the life a gangster. Did they really steal the core plot line of the movie?
