Young Telugu actress paid cheaply

In the last couple of years, a bevy of young and good looking actresses have stormed into Telugu industry with the hope of making it big. While some have succeeded, the rest are still struggling to make it count. One of the reasons these actresses have been on demand is because they come for a very cheap price. It’s said that a newbie from north India is paid as low as INR 1 lakh for a Telugu project.

Going by this trend, it looks like producers are not on the lookout for genuine talent but actresses who can make heads turn with their looks, but come cheaply. According to reports, big production houses like PVP Cinema has recently signed a north India actress for one of their Tamil projects for INR 1 lakh. Some of these actresses don’t mind being paid so low because they’re desperate for a break. For instance, television actress Avika Gor was paid INR 1 1/2 lakh for her Telugu debut film Uyyala Jampala, and when the movie turned out to be a hit, she hiked her price by a few lakhs. Now, she’s charging about INR 10 lakh for a project.

Another reason being these actresses from north India have no reservations about upping the glamour quotient if needed. Several Telugu producers are cashing in on the successful combination. The latest entrant to this list of heroines is newbie Himani Sisodiya, who has been roped in as the heroine for Sharwanand’s new project ‘Express Raja’
