Zee5 Announces Bangarraju OTT Release Date

King Nagarjuna and Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya‘s Bangarraju has released for Sankranthi after the onset of the third wave and ended up as an above-average fare at the box office. Zee Studios bagged the rights of the film even before its release and has now lined up the film’s OTT Premiere.

Bangarraju will be live on Zee5 from February 18th. That means the movie is releasing around one month after its release in theaters. Zee5 expects good viewership for the film since many people would not have watched the movie in theaters fearing the Omicron threat.

Bangarraju is the second part of the super hit film, Soggade Chinni Nayana. But then, it could not live up to the expectations and ended up with divided reviews. As a result, the movie could not take advantage of the box office even though there is no significant competition for the festive season.

After Bangarraju, Nagarjuna will be next seen in ‘The Ghost’ while Naga Chaitanya has completed the shooting of his Thank You with Manam fame Vikram K Kumar.
