Audience Will Encourage Movies With Good Content: Chiru

Youthful comedy entertainer First Day First Show directed by Vamsidhar Goud and Lakshmi Narayana with Srikanth Reddy and Sanchita Basu playing the lead roles is up for release on September 2nd. Jathi Ratnalu fame director Anudeep KV offered story for the movie.

FDFS pre-release event was conducted today with megastar Chiranjeevi attending it as the chief guest. “Edida Nageswara Rao’s family treated me like their family member. Besides doing 2 movies under Poornodaya banner, I also did a cameo during my initial days in Tayaramma Bangarayya. Edida Nageswara Rao produced many memorable movies with K Viswanath.

I got so much love in the industry. However, I realized the enormity of the industry, when I went to other field and came back to the film industry. Anudeep has done a fantastic job with Jathi Ratnalu. I’m happy that he’s given chance to two of his assistant directors with this film.

There’s lots of debate and many are of the opinion that audience are not coming to theatres. But there’s no truth in it. We’ve seen some very big hits like Bimbisara, Sita Ramam and Kartikeya 2 in recent times. Audience will always encourage movies with good content. A movie should either have a heart touching emotion or it should be thoroughly entertaining like Jathi Ratnalu.”

Chiranjeevi also shared his FDFS experience, when he was in his 6th standard.
