
The latest edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards was held over the weekend in Bengaluru. Two films stood out by reaping a windfall of awards in some of the biggest categories. They are Pushpa and Uppena.
Pushpa, directed by the super-talented Sukumar, bagged 7 awards in total. Here are the details:

Best Actor: Allu Arjun landed the glorious award
Best Director: Sukumar, the creative genius, walked away with the honour
Best Music Director: Devi Sri Prasad
Best Lyricist: Chandrabose
Best Supporting Actor
Best Art Director
Uppena, which was produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, bagged 4 awards.
Best Debut Director: Buchi Babu Sana, who is a Sukumar protégé.
Best Debut Hero: Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej
Best Debut Heroine: Krithi Shetty
Best Art Director
