Ram Charan Joins a Rare League of Celebrities

Ram Charan is going places. He has been interviewed by American media after ‘RRR’ became a sensation. And now, ‘Good Morning America’, the award-winning American morning tv program, has hosted him. The Mega Power Star is the first Indian movie celeb to appear on the show. The appearance happens on the 22nd of February at 1 pm EST. As per IST, it is 11:30 pm.

After Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and such world movie stalwarts, the tv program hosting an Indian celebrity is a moment of pride. Charan’s fans are looking forward to the special occasion.

The actor is in the US to attend Hollywood Critics Association Awards ceremony on February 24 in Beverly Hills. He is also honoured to be scheduled to present at the Academy Awards ceremony on March 12. ‘Naatu Naatu’ receiving a nomination has exalted its status in the eyes of movie-watchers across the world.

On the film front, the ‘Rangasthalam’ star is poised to do pan-India movies one after another in the coming years. His 15th movie is with director Shankar, followed by a movie with director Buchi Babu Sana. He has half a dozen movies in the pipeline already.
