Allu Arjun’s Idea Incorporated In Liger

Director Puri Jagannadh who presented his heroes in never seen before character will be showing Vijay Deverakonda as an MMA Fighter who has stammering disability. Director Sukumar took part in promotions of Liger and interviewed Puri.

Puri unveiled where did the idea of keeping stammering issue to the protagonist came to him. “When we’re doing Iddarammayilatho, Bunny discussed about a Hollywood director who shows his heroes with some or the other disability. Bunny told me, ‘Why don’t you write such characters?’ I felt stammering will be a good idea. Bunny also liked it. I wanted to do a movie on martial arts. Keeping this character with stammering issue, I wrote a story on MMA backdrop.”

When Sukku asked Puri about his experience of working with Vijay Deverakonda, he stated, “I like Vijay a lot because he’s a genuine actor. In the last decade, I haven’t seen an actor who performs genuinely on screen. He’s the same genuine person outside as well. There is no fakeness in him. He always stays in the character.”

Liger also features Ananya Pandey, Mike Tyson and Ramya Krishna in crucial roles.
