1.15 Lakh Crore budget for Andhra Pradesh!

Andhra Pradesh is likely to put up 1.15 Lakh Crore Budget for the next fiscal. The budget is put up on the estimations that income sources will increase 20-22% from last year. The first budget put up by Andhra Pradesh is of 1.11 Lakh Crore. So this budget will be 4000-5000 Crore more.

It is said that the government has got expenditure proposals up to 80000 Crore from various departments. Despite the One Lakh Crore plus budget, it will be a deficit budget for the state but the recent central government’s decision of 42% devolution of central taxes will be of a respite to some extent.

Experts are of the opinion that the budget will be only a numbers magic but the state will still reel under severe pressure of deficit budget inherited from the state bifurcation. Yanamala Ramakrishnudu will be tabling the budget in Andhra Pradesh Assembly on March 12th.
