100 Storey Secretariat Building for Telangana!

If at all the tall talks of the government turns true, Telangana state will have a secretariat with 100 floors like never before in the country. The government is planning this sprawling secretariat at the location of Chest Hospital in Erragadda shifting the hospital to Vikarabad. Government is also planning the residences of Ministers and officers there in itself. A big parade ground for Independence day and Republic day celebrations is also being planned.

The current secretariat is in 21 acres and is being shared by Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments. CM KCR feels that the current secretariat is not so comfortable and has come up with this alternate plan. The Chest hospital is located in almost 125 acres. The construction of the new secretariat will be planned in such a way it is completed by the time AP government totally moves out from Hyderabad.

KCR already announced his government’s plans of building skyscrappers around Hussainsagar and now he is planning to use the existing Secretariat area for building a skyscrapper. The proposals are being prepared for both these constructions.
