15 years back mistake still haunts Naidu

Telangana Telugu Desam suffered another shock the other day with the resignation for former Minister Vijaya Rama Rao. This resignation will hurt TDP not on the contemporary issues but it dates back to about 15 years.

Back then, it was to accommodate Vijaya Rama Rao in cabinet, Chandrababu refused a berth to KCR. Vijaya Rama Rao and KCR belongs to the same Velama community and that made things tough to Naidu. However that led to the floating of Telangana Rashtra Samiti and rest is history.

That one wrong step is almost leading the party to extinction in Telangana. Also at the same time, Vijaya Rama Rao decided to desert the party in tough times. Vijaya Rama Rao was previously CBI director and entered politics after his retirement.
