16 Lakhs enrolled as TDP members!

Telugu Desam Party’s Membership drive is being greeted to a superb response. So far 16 Lakhs New Members have enrolled in the party and brought 16 Crore income through the membership fees. Krishna district leads in new membership by achieving 130% target while the party managed 70% of the target in Kadapa where TDP is considered weak there.

East Godavari is the least in enrolling new members with 60% target achieved due to some logistics issues. TDP as a whole had setup a target of 20 Lakhs new members and they are confident of achieving it in the next 5 days (December 3rd – Last date of the drive). The party is also thinking of increasing the membership drive by 10 more days if necessary.

The party has introducing benefits like Free Insurance to its active members this year. On the other side, the party’s membership drive has garnered poor response in Telangana State where the party is in opposition for the third consecutive term.
