A train accident in Medak district had taken the lives of 20 school students. Going in to the details, Nanded – Secunderabad Express rammed in to a school bus at the unmanned railway gate at Mussayipeta on Thursday morning. 20 students including the driver were declared dead. The death toll may increase. There are 30 school students travelling in the bus belonging to Kakatiya School.
Injured children are bring treated in Yashoda Hospital. 2 Children are dead during the treatment and the doctors say few others are in critical condition. The local people hurled stones on Railway Police who came to the spot alleging that negligence of Railway authorities caused the accident. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao expressed his shock on the incident and the government has announced 5 Lakhs Ex-gratia to each of the families of the dead students.
