25 Congress MPs suspended from Loksabha

25 Congress MPs are suspended from Loksabha after continuously disrupting the proceedings of the house. Congress did not let the Loksabha function even for a day demanding the resignations of Sushma Swaraj and BJP CMs – Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Vasundhara Raje.

The ruling party today announced an all party meeting to resolve the issue but they reached no conclusion. Finally the Speaker Sumitra Mahajan decided to suspend them from the house for five days for causing grave disorder.

This suspension will mean that Congress’ strength is reduced to 19 in the house. Similar scenes continued in Rajya Sabha where the Congress is in majority. Both the houses are adjourned till Tuesday after this ruckus.
