3 Good Things Revanth Reddy Did, But Lacks Honesty!

Come this December, Revanth Reddy will complete two years as the Chief Minister of Telangana.

It is a common feeling that Revanth Reddy is yet to do something that will leave his stamp on the state.

There are people who say there is very little a Congress Chief Minister can do with many problems and so, Revanth Reddy may take some more time.

Keeping that aside, there are some things which deserve an applause for Revanth Reddy. While there is a feeling that they could be done better but credit for Revanth Reddy for attempting them in the first place.

The three things are Clearing Encroachment of Lakes, raids on restaurants to maintain food safety, and cracking the whip on Betting Apps.

Revanth Reddy brought HYDRAA to save the lakes from being encroached. He targeted a few big fish, and those razed down include Akkineni Nagarjuna’s N Convention.

He also vowed to clear the encroachments on Musi but then, the initiative slowed down. There is a criticism that his own brother’s villa is in the FTL of Durgamma Cheruvu but Revanth Reddy did not do anything about it.

Telangana Food Safety Department is active like never before. The Department is cracking whip on the eateries that are not maintaining proper hygiene. Some of the big names are also raided and exposed.

The department posts the pictures of violations on X to educate the people.

But then, there is a criticism that the Government has spared the Muslim-owned famous hotels in Old City and other Muslim-dominated areas to appease the community. Those hotels are notorious for not maintaining hygiene.

And then, the third initiative is cracking down on the Betting Apps.

The Government just started it. Firstly, it registered cases on celebrities who promoted these Apps. Those booked include small social media influencers and film actors.

The Government also registered cases against the owners of such apps.

There is a feeling that this is all Hungama and a concrete action on the celebrities and these App owners is unlikely. Revanth Reddy had to prove the people wrong.

All three things are directly impacting the common people, and no other Governments have taken them seriously.

It is appreciable that Revanth Reddy has taken the,m but there should be complete honesty in the execution. Only then will he get the Credit.
