50 SHE cabs to come on roads next month!

The Telangana government’s initiative of SHE cabs operated by women drivers will come on roads in January next year. In the first phase, 50 cabs will come on road and the government is planning to impart free training to women with licenses if they are interested.

The government is inviting applications for the purchase of cabs. Government will give special incentives to those interested. In the first phase, the more profitable below 6 Lakhs vehicles will be encouraged. Government will bear 35% of the cost and 55% will be given as loan by the banks. The rest of the 10% should be borne by the beneficiaries.

She cabs is a unit of She Help Foundation intended to provide safe travel cabs with high security for women. All the cabs of this service are Completely driven by women drivers and are Completely for women in Hyderabad city. Only women passengers are allowed to travel in these cabs.
