6 Months of Controversial Journey and Tall Promises

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has completed 6 months office after leading the separate state agitation for more than a decade and successfully attaining it. While the state is achieved, KCR’s tall promises of make the state ‘Bangaru Telangana’ takes center stage.

Promises like 2BHK Flat for deserving poor, 3 acres land to Dalit families, Loan Waiver up to One Lakh, Free Education from KG to PG and others did not invoke calculations from people since most of them trusted KCR as a leader and torch bearer to Telangana. KCR’s promises would also burden the state treasury even after having a surplus budget. Thats not over. The Master Agitator have been in news for several controversial reasons like demolishing illegal structures, media ban, 1956 nativity rule, Telangana Survey etc.

KCR did not relent with the heap of promises but started piling up a mountain. The claims of building World’s biggest Skyscrappers, drying up Hussain Sagar and refilling it, water grid project will only further burden the state which do not have proposals to increase its resources to finance its plans. KCR couple of months ago told his mark ruling was yet to begin. We are yet to know if his mark ruling had already begun or we will need to wait further.
