90% Postal Ballot Voting: What Does That Indicate?

Employees faced a lot of troubles in Exercising their Vote. There is no clear information about where the votes will be. Some officials said their vote will be at their place of work and some said their vote will be in their own place.

Due to this confusion, some did not get to cast their vote. The votes of many employees were missing. There is a lack of facilities in many pooling booths.

Despite all this, the voter turnout is likely to be around 90%, sources say.

In 2019, 77% of the Postal Ballot votes were polled. In 2019, the YSR Congress got 1.34 Lakh Votes, TDP 80K, Janasena 11K, and BJP 4K Votes.

But this higher voter turnout is worrying the YSR Congress.

There is a widespread belief that the Government employees are largely against the Ruling Party. We have seen YSR Congress neglecting the employees by not paying salaries on time, diverting their PF money, etc.

Hence this voter turnout is worrying them. Usually, the voting percentage increases when the anti-incumbency is high.

The Ruling Party is only hoping that Secretariat Employees will vote for them as those jobs are created by them.

However, there is dissatisfaction among those sections due to high work, low pay, and several other issues.

The postal ballot voting will conclude today. Today is the day when those involved in the security services can exercise their vote.
