From 9th Class Girl to MNC Official- Drug Burst in HYD

As a wake-up call to the Hyderabad police and the parents, drug trafficking has come to light on Sunday. Excise officials arrested 3 individuals involved in the drug dealing, a Goan who is a musician, a student and an employee from Hyderabad.

The group was selling the drugs namely LSD and MDMA commonly called as Ecstasy and Molly to various groups of people in Hyderabad from film producers, senior officials of MNC to the 9th standard student of Hyderabad school. As the Excise official Akun Sabharwal says, these three were importing the drugs from Chicago and selling them to the addicts in Hyderabad.

The officials have seized crores worth drugs and are inquiring further to get more information. The group has been communicating with the customers via WhatsApp and other internet sources. A 9th standard girl’s message in the WhatsApp of the drug peddler says: “I liked the drug. It gave me a nearly 12-hour high. I want more, can u arrange?”.

This is certainly an alert to the parents to have an extra watch on their kids, also the police to watch over the city.
