ABV Approaches CAT Against Jagan Government

It is known to our readers that YSR Congress Government had suspended the former Intelligence DG, AB Venkateswara Rao said that he on charges of endangering national security by “willfully disclosing intelligence protocols and procedures of the police to a foreign defense manufacturing firm”.

All this “was done for pecuniary gain involving his son by raising a proxy company to make monetary gains”, the government sources say. AB Venkateswara Rao had approached Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) asking to announce his suspension as unlawful. He also brought to the notice of the court that he is not being paid a salary from May 31st, 2019.

He went on to say that all the allegations on him are without any evidence and due to Political Vendetta. CM Jagan suspects Ro to be the ‘Man Friday’ of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and removed him as the Intelligence chief after the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took charge on May 30 last year. Ever since he has not been given a posting.

Even before the elections, YSR Congress lodged several complaints about ABV to the Election Commission and the Central Government.
