ACB files first charge-sheet in Cash for Vote!

Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau had filed the chargesheet on Cash for Vote scam. The charge-sheet has Revanth Reddy, Sebastian, Uday Simha and Mathiah as the accused in this case under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and section 120B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC.

ACB in the charge-sheet had notified 39 persons as witnesses in this case. Interestingly the charge sheet has no mention of another TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah who was earlier arrested in this case. Also there is no mention about TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu or the audio tapes which allegedly belonged to him.

ACB also referred to several documents and the FSL report as the evidences in this case. ACB sources say this is a preliminary charge-sheet and it will be adding more charge-sheets in future if necessary.
