Air Bus flying down to Andhra Pradesh

Leading Aeroplanes manufacturing company, Air Bus is going to establish an Aerospace Manufacturing cluster in Anantapur district. This plant is likely to manufacture the spare parts and take up maintenance services here.

The Andhra Pradesh government has allotted 49.18 acres to this plant at Palasamudram village. The company will have to shell 5 Lakhs for each acre of land allotted. The government had to acquire 150 acres of land around there and give to the company.

The close proximity to Bangalore reportedly worked in favour of bringing Air Bus to Anantapur. Air Bus can serve many companies including HAL and BEML which cater to the needs of defense, railway and mining.
