After Power and Water, TS fights for TTD fund

It seems there is no respite for issues between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. After on going tussle for Power and Water between Telugu states now the new issue is over lord Balaji’s TTD funds.

TRS leader Harish Rao raises a new demand that TTD owes Rs 241 crore to Telangana state under the common good fund (CGF). He said Telangana goverment will make all moves to get the fund from Andhra Pradesh goverment. Harish Rao argues that AP had collected five percent of total revenues of TTD from year 2003-04. The total amount accumulates to Rs 576 crore and now Telangana wants it’s share, collected in undivided state, says Harish Rao.
