After TDP, Congress MLAs suspended from TS Assembly!

Telangana government seems to be on a suspension spree. TRS government had already suspended TDP members twice from the Assembly and now it is the turn of Congress members. Congress party is pinning down the ruling party from the last couple of days for encouraging defections. Congress repeatedly stalled the proceedings of the house after the ruling party defended encouraging defections since Late YSR encouraged them in those days.

Harish Rao finally proposed the suspension of 13 Congress MLAs for a day and the Speaker agreed for it. After the suspended members refused to leave the house, Marshalls were sent in. Leader of the Opposition, Jana Reddy is not in the list of suspended members but he staged a walkout protesting the suspension.

This suspension spree by the Telangana government will now unify the opposition parties in the state. Already BJP has condemned the government’s attempts to silence the opposition by suspension rather than conducting the house properly taking every one in to confidence.
