AIADMK Expells Sasikala

One more significant development has happened in Tamil Politics. After the rival factions of Paneerselvam and Palaniswamy joined hands, they have called for a General Council Meeting this morning and expelled Sasikala from the party.

AIADMK, in fact, scrapped the post of general secretary in the party, announcing that its former chief Jayalalithaa will be the “eternal general secretary”. The General Council Meeting also nullified the orders of TTV Dhinakaran and announced that his orders do not bind the party.

This comes as a shock to Sasikala who is currently serving a sentence in Bengaluru’s Parapana Agrahara Prison. On the other side, Sasikala’s husband, Natarajan is also hospitalized due to Multi-Organ Failure. So, there are problems all over for Sasikala.
