Amaravathi Construction to cost Rs.62K Cr

Mckenzie, the consultant appointed by the state government for Amaravati estimated that the capital construction in the next five year will need a whopping 62000 Crore. Mckenzie also came up with a report about how the construction can be aided.

According to that, the central government will be funding Secretariat, Assembly, Council, Raj Bhavan and other administrative buildings. Rest of the constructions have to be carried out by PPP model, Complete Private, loans from national and international agencies etc.

The consultant gave a power point presentation on this to the Chief Minister the other day. According to the report, the normal infrastructure building alone will cost a whopping 30000 Crore. The Chief Minister sought an even detailed report on funds accumulation sources.
